Laura S. Walker State Park



The park's lake offers opportunities for boating, skiing and fishing, while a swimming pool is available during summer. This is one of the few state parks named after a woman, and its name is richly deserved. Laura Walker was a Georgia writer, teacher, civic leader and naturalist who was a great lover of trees and worked for their preservation.



Southern Forest World


Southern Forest World is a self-guided museum committed to cultivating the public about the significance of the Forest Industry in the South. Over 20 structures are included in the outline of the homestead. Two museums and more than 55 animal species are on exhibit here.



Okefenokee Swamp


Twenty five miles across and forty miles long, Okefenokee is a unique area of primitive wetland which harbors hundreds of birds, mammals, reptiles, and amphibians, many of which are endangered or threatened.



Satilla River


Known throughtout history by various names, this winding body, now referred to as The Satilla River, covers seven counties and empties into the Atlantic Ocean. Initally discovered during Spanish exploration, it was Jean Ribault that officially gave the river an identity.



Da' Woods Theatre


Da' Woods celebrated their grand opening in April of 2003 and has since enhoyed bringing special entertainment services to the surrounding communities. Da' Woods utilizes local talent as well as top of the chart artist.



Summer Waves Water Park

Wild Adventures Theme Park


Wild Adventures is the nations largest and fastest growing privately owned theme park. The park is continually growing and there are always new, fun, interesting things to do and see.
